RECIPE: HUMMUS

Ingredients:

5 cups cooked chickpeas

4 cloves garlic

½ cup toasted sesame oil or olive oil (depending on what you prefer the flavour of)

½ cup rice vinegar or lemon juice

¼ cup of tamari sauce or Sea salt to taste

Optional: Fresh chives, spring onions or parsley


Method:

  1. Blend Ingredients:

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Transfer the blended mixture to a container and place it in the fridge.


2. Garnish and Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh herbs or parsley, whole chickpeas, olive oil, paprika, or any other toppings you fancy.

  • Keeps for about 1 week in the fridge. Enjoy your delicious and fresh dish!
