RECIPE: CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE

This cake is so deliciously rich and moist! I hate dry cakes, and making cakes without sugar or eggs often means they end up drier then i would like, but this is a winner! i have never eaten a better chocolate cake, healthy or unhealthy. It hands down is the best!

 

Ingredients: 

30 Medjool dates

1 cup water

1 cup coconut oil

4 tsps baking soda (good quality)

Pinch of salt

1.5 cups of cocoa

2 cups whole spelt flour4 tbsp psyllium husk 


Method:

  1. Blend Wet Ingredients:

  • In a blender, blend all the dates with the water and coconut oil until smooth.

  • 2. Add Dry Ingredients:

  • Add all dry ingredients to the blender and blend until well combined. 3. Bake:

  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish.

  • Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
